We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Hygiene Coordinator to oversee and lead our hygiene department. This leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about team collaboration and ensuring exceptional patient care.
Key Duties:
- Managing the Hygiene Team: Handle scheduling, time-off requests, and secure temporary hygienists or replacements when needed.
- Insurance Coordination: Verify and ensure insurance coverage for hygiene visits, addressing any issues proactively.
- Team Enhancement: Work hand-in-hand with the hygiene team to foster collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Hygiene Meetings: Prepare and organize regular hygiene meetings to align goals and address department updates.
- Auditing: Perform regular audits of hygiene operations to ensure compliance and maintain high standards of care.
- Patient Communication: Build strong relationships by effectively communicating with patients regarding their hygiene appointments and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a dental office
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
